Send-A-Song Updates

To newcomers: this page will bring you news of updates and (hopefully) improvements here. I realize that only a small percentage will be reading this since most people want to get directly to the matter of sending a postcard :) Still i think it's important to let you know i intend to make as many improvements as possible until this place is darn near perfect!

At long last (it only took 2 years - heh.) you can select a poem on the composition pages in the Passion/Devotion/Friendship/Transitions sections. Choose from classic poets Sara Teasdale, Emily Dickinson and of course the Bard himself - Shakespeare.

A separate Main page has been created for browsers that have a tendency to crash with the javascript and the graphics overkill on the original main page (which BTW is still available).

Classic Poetry

27/09/98 - In the Inspiration section there are 50 or so poems to choose from. Right now it's only possible to highlight/paste them into your text composition area, but in a few days you'll be able to automatically select them from a pull-down menu on the same page where you choose your card.
Warning: on the Java Cards Page the pull-down menu is already there, but it doesn't work yet. Selecting a poem from it may cause errors when you send your postcard.
